Abstract Submission

Authors should submit an abstract via the Community of Science (COS) electronic submission system by 12:00 AM EST August 31, 2007 (final extension). Full papers will be selected for inclusion in the meeting publications based on this initial abstract submission.

NOTE: The system automatically stopped accepting new abstract submissions at 12:00 AM EST August 31, 2007. At this time you will ONLY be able to submit a new paper / presentation as a Late Breaking Research Summary (see below) or a panel presentation (no printed publication). The deadline for accepting peer reviewed abstracts leading to full-paper publication in the meeting transactions has passed and this publication option is no longer available for new submissions.

Author Notification

Author notification letters for all contributed and invited abstracts leading to full-paper publication were sent to authors via the COS author notification tool on September 27, 2007 for ESD track submissions and on October 1, 2007 for RRSD track submissions. If you have not yet received this e-mail, please notify the TPC chairs immediately.

Full Paper Submission

Authors whose abstracts are accepted for publication are required to submit full-length papers for inclusion in the conference proceedings CD. Papers must be uploaded into the COS electronic submission system as a PDF document not later than November 28, 2007. The final PDF file size should be no more than 4 MB. The maximum length of the paper is eight (8) pages. All parts of the paper - tables, figures, text, references, appendices, etc. - are included in this page limit.

Late-Breaking Research

Late-breaking research summaries will be accepted between the August 15, 2007 and November 28, 2007 deadlines. Summaries will utilize the full-paper template (see link above), but are limited to a maximum of 2 pages in length. These submissions will not be peer reviewed, except for format and length adherence. PDF versions of Late Breaking Summaries will be included in the conference proceedings and presented at the conference. Full-length papers will not be accepted as late-breaking research. This avenue is available for new emerging research, not as a short-cut to the normal meeting publication process.
